I’ve been a writer of many things over my 23 years–children’s books, a fantasy epic (the first ten chapters, written on Powerpoint slides), columns and op/eds, Instagram bios, a censored commencement speech I tweeted out after graduation, scripts, treatments, and outlines, news articles and features, monthly newsletters to my dearest friends, reviews on Letterboxd, short stories, and poems to my family every Christmas. What follows is a small sample of that body of work, curated to make me look smarter and more articulate than I really am. At least that’s what I’m hoping.
An in-depth news feature concerning ChatGPT and its influence in college classrooms.
A news feature discussing Marquette’s housing crisis and the city’s potential solutions.
A feature story about rock climbing development in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
An angsty creative nonfiction piece about traveling in the digital age.
A how-to article about taking an epic road trip on a tiny budget.
An op/ed and design spread about flying down sand dunes.
